Megger DCM305E Earth Leakage Current Clamp Meter
The Megger DCM305E Earth Leakage Clamp Meter is the ideal instrument for accurately and precisely measuring earth leakage current in addition to other AC current up to 100A AC. It has a resolution of just 0.001mA and excellent accuracy of ±1% (depending on current magnitude). The instrument benefits from True RMS measurement for sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal waveforms and a low pass filter helps maintain stable readings. Several range options enable maximum precision and these can be selected automatically or manually.
Leakage Current Readings are displayed on the Megger DCM305E’s backlit digital screen and display options include data hold, peak hold and auto hold. Additional feedback is provided in the form of three pre-set limits (0.25, 0.5, 3.5mA) beyond which an audible alarm sounds and a visual warning is given. The 40mm jaw is designed for use on insulated and non-insulated conductors and the ergonomic form is both easy to manoeuvre and safe thanks to a raised hand guard.
The Megger DCM305E is rated as Cat III 300V and the battery lasts for roughly 60 hours. A soft carry case is provided as standard. Overall, this constitutes an excellent and versatile AC ammeter for leakage and regular current.
