A versatile alloy, these 304 Stainless Steel Fasteners are very popular in many industries. The expression 18-8 is a footnote to the chemistry of SS 304 bolt. The content of chromium in the 18-8 alloy is about - 18% with around nickel is 8%. In instances of modification in its carbon content, alloy 304 could be dual certified as 304L or 304H, depending on its lowered or increased carbon content.
